Each Sunday School class meets from 9:30--10:30 in the designated classroom.
Childcare is available for infants and toddlers during both the Sunday School and Worship hours on the first floor of the Education Building.
Children and Youth Classes
Evergreen Presbyterian Church offers children’s classes that stress the importance of building a foundation of Christian Education that will stay with a child as he/she grows into his/her own personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ. There are classes available for children from age 3 through the 5th grade and for youth from Middle School (rising sixth through eighth grade) to Senior High School (rising ninth through twelfth grade). These classes are located in the Christian Education Building west of the Sanctuary and may be accessed by using the breezeway in the north hallway outside of the Sanctuary or from outside near the west parking lot. Focus is on Bible Study as well as guiding and encouraging our youth to use their gifts for service to the church community and the world.
Basic Bible Class
This class goes through the Bible one book at a time, reading, studying and discussing each book in turn. The class rotates teachers and discussion leaders. Class interest will dictate new studies. This class meets in the Session Room on the South hallway outside of the Sanctuary.
Disciples Bible Class
In the course of one year, this class will go through the Old and New Testaments of the Bible. It will highlight major scripture passages, giving a broad overview of the Bible. The class is led by Reverend Amy Howe, Parish Associate, and meets in Room 205A in the Christian Education Building.
Men's Bible Class
(Open to Everyone)
The class is taught by a rotation of teachers and discussion leaders. The class meets in Room 202 of the Christian Education Building.

6+1 Study Class
The class is led by a rotation of teachers and discussion leaders. The class gets its name from the belief that Sunday is not a “stand alone” day for Bible study and prayer, but a day that should be modeled in with (added to) the other six days of the week. The class meets in the Parlor on the South hallway outside of the Sanctuary.
Bible History Class
Currently studying the history of the Old Testament. It is a series of Bible Studies led by Dr. Bob Patterson, retired Religion Professor from Rhodes College. The class meets in Room 206 of the Christian Education Building.
Ernest Workers Class
Currently studying Jesus’ Life, Teaching and Ministry from “The Present Word” curriculum. The class is a discussion class that rotates teachers and study units on a regular basis. This class meets downstairs outside of Millard Hall.
Traveler's Faith Study Class
Currently studying a book entitled “Practicing Our Faith.” The class is taught in discussion style, with a rotation of teachers and discussion leaders. The topics are selected by a show of class interest and are usually focused on each individual’s faith journey. The class meets in Room 205B of the Christian Education Building.
