September 19-21, 2008
Friday night, September 19--The Ceilidh -- A talent show in the olde Scottish tradition features singing, participatory dancing, instrumentals, recitations, and other Scottish entertainment.
On Saturday, September 20, the Faire begins at 10am and continues until 6pm! Something for everyone--Wolf River Pipes and Drums, Music Stage, Scottish Heritage Tent, Vendors, Clan tents, Children's Area, Dance Stage--and our ever famous sheep herding demonstration!
Sunday, September 21--We invite you to come for the Kirkin' O' The Tartans, our 10:55am Worship Service. Each clan will present its tartan for blessing, in recognition of the Scots' religious heritage and the clans' rededication to God's service. Immediately following the morning worship service is our Dinner on the Grounds, a fitting end to a weekend of joyful activities!
All proceeds from Clanjamfry support the Recreation Outreach Ministry of Evergreen. This Recreation Outreach Ministry is one of the oldest and most comprehensive in Memphis, offering opportunities for all children and families in midtown and throughout Memphis:
