Mardi Gras Dinner (& Public Diary Reading) @ Evergreen
Tuesday, February 21 @ 6:30 p.m.

Folks, here’s the skinny on Fat Tuesday at Evergreen. Join us for a delectable, finger-lickin’ good Cajun feast prepared by none other than our own Nawlins-approved Chef-in-Residence Bud “Boudreaux” Richey. We’ll serve up supper at 6:30 and then at 7 p.m., things are gonna get “Sanctified”!
In a liturgical take on the hit podcast “Mortified,” we bring you “Sanctified”—in which brave Evergreeners (and adoring fans) gather ‘round to read excerpts from their childhood diaries, old journals, teen study Bibles, tear-stained love letters and handwritten notes slipped to crushes on the sly. The catch? All reflections, recollections and Ghosts of Cringy Times Past must have a religious, spiritual, or at least New Age-y bent to fit the theme (in other words: everything’s fair game, as long as it’s in Jesus’ name). Best of all, like God’s grace, this experience is absolutely FREE. Ça c’est bon!
So RSVP for supper, dig up your old journals and let the good times—and the awkward stories—roll at the Evergreen Shrove Tuesday celebration. You’ll have an embarrassingly good time, I garontee!
